Glimepiride is an anti-diabetic medication. It works by increasing the amount of insulin released by the pancreas in order to lower the blood glucose and Metformin is an anti-diabetic medicine. It restores the body’s ability to use insulin, lowering the blood sugar levels. It also decreases the amount of glucose absorbed from food in the intestine and decreases glucose production in the liver.
